Itinerary

Welcome to your tour! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

After breakfast, we’ll head to Gedser, a quaint town that marks the southernmost point of Scandinavia. Around 11:00 a.m., we’ll board a modern ferry to Germany for a two-hour crossing of the Baltic Sea. We recommend you have lunch on the ship. We’ll arrive in Rostock, where you’ll have time to explore this lively city, with the largest German port on the Baltic. Its vibrant old town features landmarks such as the Market Square, the City Hall, and St. Mary’s Church. Continuing our journey, we’ll travel through the Pomerania region into Poland. We’ll arrive in Szczecin in the evening, a historic university city on the banks of the Oder River. The city’s charming historic center is home to the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle and scenic riverside terraces. You’ll have free time to stroll around and soak in the atmosphere.

After breakfast, we’ll travel through the peaceful regions of western Poland, an area that was part of Germany until the end of World War II. Our first stop will be Bydgoszcz, where you’ll have time to stroll through this historic city, known for its beautiful architecture, scenic parks, and canals that connect the Vistula and Oder rivers. Enjoy some time for lunch before we continue our journey. Next, we’ll head to Toruń, a walled Gothic city with a stunning historic center, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Copernicus. You’ll have time to explore, and if you wish, you can visit his museum-house. Afterward, we’ll continue our route to Warsaw, the capital of Poland, arriving by the end of the day.

We’ll start the day with a panoramic tour of Warsaw with a local guide. Home to nearly two million people, this political and economic hub of Poland boasts a blend of modern architecture and meticulously restored historic buildings. We’ll stroll through the charming old town, featuring many old buildings, the Royal Palace, and cobbled streets, all restored after their destruction in World War II and now declared a World Heritage Site. We’ll visit the Palace of Culture, a skyscraper gifted by the Soviet Union, reflect on the history of what was once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe, and wander through Lazienki Park, home to the Chopin Monument. You’ll have free time in the afternoon to visit museums, such as the National Museum and the Warsaw Rising Museum, or to explore the lively city center filled with shops and activities.

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
